  • Check the HVAC system for any deficiencies, old or worn equipment, improper return air source, maintenance issues, water or mold from the air conditioning system, mold on AC coils, dirty air filters, dirty duct interiors, gaps or holes in ductwork.
  • Check kitchen and utility areas for dangerous household cleaning compounds
  • Check fireplaces or any other gas-fueled appliances for leaks and carbon monoxide
  • Check for formaldehyde from flooring, furniture, paints, fabrics, and adhesives
  • Check for volatile organic compounds from furniture, paints, fabrics, and adhesives

If necessary, we will take a dust sampling and lab analysis in order to determine if there is any historical evidence of water-related damage and molds and a dust sampling for any allergens. We will take an air sampling for any mold spores to use in comparison to species and counts outside the home or business. We also may take a swab sampling for bacteria in order to detect any residuals from sewage issues.
